"Iris, the Happy Professor," is a children's TV show for The Learning Channel, and other broadcasters. It ran for 2 seasons with 26 episodes (1992-94) If you remember as a kid watching morning kid programs on the Learning Channel, You probably saw Professor Iris,the bird-like puppet, who teaches his puppet class about life and the world. Although the class consists of 3 students, they never learn anything of real importance. In one episode they visit a windmill? There is a field trip eveyday to some really dumb place. The so called "professor" Iris is a complete dope. But what I love about the show is the adorable character, Piano. He's so innocent, and the only likable character.Plus his facial expressions and hand motions are a riot! please explore this one of a kind website,perhaps the only Professor Iris Website out there! created in the fall of 2002 "Who's crazy enough to watch this thing?" Hey if you like crazy puppet things, this is the show for you! The puppets are bizarre and almost frightning. Infact it's made by the same person who does fraggle rock.Who could not stop to watch a pink piano giggle as your flipping through the channels? Although it is hard to sit through every frick'n musical number.
