The idea of the show is th use the least amount of puppets as possible, so there isn't much characters.
Professor Iris: The bird like teacher who chooses a different theme oriented tie for each episode .He's purple colored, with a few red hairs, and a thin beak. He sounds like Hannibal Lector, "Hello class, Sssssssss!" He's kind of dopey and always in a good mood. Maybe if Skeleton beat him over with steel bat he'd go ballistic.
Ms. Principal: the yellow birdlike "principal" with sensitive ears and nothing better to do. She's uptight, self-centered, and always barging in the classroom, " Professor Iris, What is all this Racket!" She has a wide duck bill, where's a zany dress for every attire, and always going on field trips when she's suppose to be watching the school.
Piano: he' a mini pink piano with a doily on his head. He has a high mickey mouse voice. piano is lovable, curious, lively, worrisome and amusing. He's play'n a tune on himself when exuberant. When no one's looking he does faces and loves to move his hands around .His trademark is to cover one of his eyes in disgust and lookup, like he's peeking at you.
Plant: He's a yellow flower w/red hearts on his petals. He's completely immobile since he's suck in a flower pot. He's a bit slow, and dull, and relies on Piano's head for transportation. All he can do really is move back and forth when estatic.
Skeleton: is another purple bird w/a crooked thin bill. He wears a skeleton ribbed T-shirt, and bones tied in his hairs. He's always eating banannas, and wanting more. He's stingy, selfish,cunniving,rude, and a troublemaker. he kind of sounds like Bugsy, the mobster and seems to have most of theproblems.
Kiwi: the short lived bird/kiwi student who moved to Iris's class for a few episodes and moved again. She was green and had a bunch of bowed ponytails shooting out of head. she was calm, and didn't do much. She had a quiet voice and not as active as the others. She liked the other students, and if I recall Skeleton had a crush on her.
